To turn the hopper on, simply press and hold the power light at the back of the hopper. The green light will turn on to indicate that the hopper is on. Due to the advanced electronic controls, there is no need to adjust any other settings on the hopper.
Cleaning the Hopper:
Normal cleaning of the hopper is simple.

Maintenance
The JRNY hopper will perform better and last longer if some regular maintenance is performed. A good rule of thumb would be to perform these simple cleaning procedures every other time the batteries are changed.
- Cleaning the inside of the auger.
Tools needed: q-tips
-
-
- Remove the auger from the hopper and auger drive tray as explained above.
- Run a q-tip through the center of the auger, like you would squeegee a barrel.

- Wipe down the auger drive pin with a dry cloth.
- Place the auger back on the drive coupler, and re-insert the auger drive pin. DO NOT PUT THE TRAY BACK INTO THE HOPPER UNTIL PERFORMING THE NEXT STEP.
-
- Cleaning the pogo pins.
Tools needed: Pencil Eraser
-
-
- With the auger drive tray removed, gently run an eraser of a pencil across the pogo pins. This will remove any debris that would affect the performance of the pogo pins.

- If paint or debris has built up in the pogo pin connection points, use the edge of a pencil eraser to remove that debris as well.

- With the auger drive tray removed, gently run an eraser of a pencil across the pogo pins. This will remove any debris that would affect the performance of the pogo pins.
